‘Inland’ exhibited in Dansehallerne, Copenhagen
I made the video triptych Inland when Danish Dance Theatre decided to do a rerun of our performance FROST. It was exhibited in the foyer after the show, and received a lot of positive feedback, quite a few members of the audience stayed after the show to watch the installation.
Inland is made from our own footage from a research trip in Greenland for the Longing Fast Forward project.
Longing – Fast Forward
Is a long-term art project with the people living on the edge of the Greenland inland-ice.
From May 2012 we will set up an automated research station, monitoring 360°, throughout the circle of one year. Based on performative experiments with local participants and structural collection of video and sound, the recordings will shape a large scale audio-visual installation, showing the current inner / human and outer / environmental change of pace.
